Due to the continued success this Croydon practice, they have exciting opportunities for two personable and approachable Vets to join this fabulous and supportive team! This would suit experienced, confident Vets due to the small element of sole charge responsibility.

They have an established and friendly team comprising of 4 Vets, 4 RVNs, 1 Student Nurse, 3 Veterinary Care Assistants and 4 Receptionists.  An interest or knowledge of ultrasonography and/or a bias towards surgery would be an advantage but not essential but an absolute must is the ability to provide exceptional customer service!

The practice is very well equipped they have onsite access to a range of state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, New Doppler ultrasound with ECG, flexible bronchoscope, rigid rhinoscope and gastroscope, Doppler blood pressure machine, in-house catalyst machine for biochemistry and Idexx Procyte for haematology.

Skills required:

Croydon treat a real variety of cases including some orthopaedics and the team take great pride in working up cases to an extremely high standard. You will be an experienced Vet, with at least 3 years experience, confident with routine surgery and medicine and able to work to 15 minute consults. A Vet with a strong surgical background would be preferred, but is not essential.

They actively encourage personal development through CPD and are happy to support study towards certificates for the right individual. There is a bonus scheme in place and possible partnership and profit share opportunities in the future.

For the Full Time role, you will be working as part of a 4 Vet rota. This will be a 40 hour work week with a 1 in 4 weekend rota. For the full time role, you will be off as a 3 day weekend every 2 weeks creating an excellent opportunity to take short mini weekend breaks. The Part Time role is offering 3 weekdays including Monday, Thursday and Friday but they are open to flexibility. Both roles available have a weekend Rota of 1 in 4. There are no OOHs ensuring an excellent work/life balance!
