This Basildon based practice is an RCVS accredited practice and they think that they can offer a great work-life balance to all their colleagues. Being a 10 vet, 24-hour hospital practice the caseload is high and variable. Commonly performed surgeries are cruciates, fracture repairs, TECABO, perineal urethrostomies, BOAS, skin flaps, caesareans and similar interesting cases. 

As a 24-hour hospital they not only provide out of hours care for their own patients, but they also cover 4 other Vets4Pets practices in the area so their nights enable a variety of caseloads making it extremely rewarding.
They are located just 45 minutes from London and the seaside is 20 minutes away by car.

They are looking for a proactive Veterinary Surgeon with medical bias. An interest in cardiology would be advantageous but not essential. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and have good communication skills with both your colleagues and clients. No two days are the same at the practice so you should enjoy the variety the role will bring. Happy to consider recent graduates.
