A Merseyside Veterinary hospital is currently looking for an RVN to be based in theatre. The ideal candidate will be an organised and dynamic RVN with a passion for anaesthesia and surgical nursing, and a good idea of how theatre runs.

The role will be based in first opinion theatre helping with general anaesthesia, preparation, and recovery of surgical patients; organisation and running of first opinion theatre list; liaising with referral theatre to ensure the smooth daily running of theatre/possible referral rotation; and assisting with the training of students.

Shift Patterns:

• 7am-3pm / 10.30am-6.30pm on alternate weeks, with a week of 2pm-10pm on a rota basis
• Weekends are 1:5 (this is either a Saturday or a Sunday)
• NO OOH! We have a fantastic OOH team, but there is availability to pick up additional paid shifts.
