This Dorchester based practice, are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse or Y2 Student Veterinary Nurse to join them.
Here, you will be supported by an experienced team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Client Care Assistants, so there are minimal reception duties.

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed.
You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS. Alternatively, you must be an experienced Student Veterinary Nurse who is already enrolled in college
This role offers an RVN salary of £21,330 - £24,565 per annum, depending on experience plus £300 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available, RCVS and VDS fees, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.
If you are joining as a Student Veterinary Nurse, they offer a salary between £14,725 - £20,896 per annum, depending on experience plus RCVS and VDS fees paid. 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.
Hours are 40 per week (43 SVN) - 1:4 weekends and a fair share of bank holiday cover with time off in lieu and minimal on call duties over the year, approx. 3 weeks to support our dedicated night team if required, enabling the development of your ECC skills and experience.
