The great team at this Cambridge practice is growing, and they now have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nurse to join them! They are open to discussing all working patterns and can truly be flexible to suit your work/life balance needs.
The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgeries are purpose built to industry leading standards and they have state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, full orthopaedic equipment, extensive endoscopic, including laparoscopic, equipment, ultrasound and in-house laboratory facilities. The practice sees a wide variety of surgical and medical cases with a high percentage of clients being insured allowing the team to work up cases to a high standard. Laparoscopic dog spays are performed as standard.
You will be joining a supportive team consisting of 7 Vets, 11 RVNs and a team of 5 Receptionists which is also expanding and is split across the two sites. The team benefits from a variety of experience and individual interests including critical care and soft tissue surgery.
They are truly passionate about developing every member of the team and actively promote ongoing CPD. There is no set CPD budget allowing you to truly chose to progress your career in the direction that you want. Two members hold a certificate in Soft Tissue Surgery, another with a certificate in Endoscopy and Endosurgery, another with the Vets Now ECC Certificate and one currently studying for a Certificate in Medicine.
You will be a proactive nurse with solid all round skills and good previous experience. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and passionate about animal welfare.
