We have a great opportunity for an OOH Small Animal Vet to join the team at this RCVS accredited Tier 3 Hospital on a permanent basis. The Hospital has been at the heart of the community for over 50 years. It is a friendly and forward-thinking Hospital with a lovely client base, modern state of the art facilities and a strong team ethos, linked with a history of excellent customer service.
Led by the Clinical Director , it is staffed by a group of passionate vets, outstanding nurses and dedicated receptionists committed to providing the very highest level of patient and clinical care. They recently completed a 52-week refurbishment, developing the reception and clinical areas to an outstanding level.
The role will ideally be working 8/10 shifts in a 28-day period (but they can be flexible on this), working 8pm to 9am on a rota-based system that includes further experienced OOH Vets. The Hospital runs the OOH service for a number of small animal practices so the role will involve taking care of current inpatients and any emergency cases from the outlying practices.
We are looking for professional and motivated individuals, who have a real passion for working in an OOH, emergency care environment. The role would be sole charge, with support from 2 qualified RVN’s and an ANA on duty. It would be beneficial if applicants have at least 2 years exposure within a similar environment.
