 We are working with a great practice in a lovely part of South London who are looking for a Head Nurse to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head Nurse looking for a new challenge or a Registered Nurse looking to progress to the next level. 

As Head Nurse you will be in charge of developing the nurse team in their skills and education which will be backed with CPD and any other training routes you think will help the practice. You will also be in charge of the rota and ensuring the practice needs are met alongside those of the team, organising holiday cover and assisting with recruitment.

The position is full time, working Monday- Friday (shifts 8.40-4pm/ 12-7.30pm) and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (8.45-12.45pm), this will change to  1 in 3 or 1 in 4. 

No OOH or on call. 

Salary range £32,000 - £34,000 depending on experience. 

 The practice has excellent transport links. They have one operating theatre and a dental suite including dental x ray and separate cat/ dog wards. They have 3 full time vets and 3 full time RVN's (one of them will be you), 1 receptionist and 2 support staff. 

They actively encourage further development and 2 of their vets are currently studying for certificates in medicine and surgery. 

You will be a team player, have the ability to multitask and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. A key attribute is responsibility and leadership.
