The role

As a Head Veterinary Nurse you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties, share best practice with your team and help to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.

This practice boasts a mixed caseload (exotics, farm, zoo work, wildlife, small animal), so the ideal candidate will have an interest and/or experience in one or more of these areas.

You must have a passion for delivering outstanding client and patient care and enjoy working in a supportive working environment. You’ll have a friendly and positive attitude and want to progress and expand your knowledge and skills further.

The role will cover 40 hours a week over 5 days. You will also be part of a 1:4 weekend rota. There is also on-call and out of hours service included in the shift pattern.

Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary of up to £29,240 per annum, depending on experience 

RCVS and VDS fees paid

Skills and Experience

You must be a veterinary nurse who is registered with the RCVS.
