This practice is a busy, three vet branch. You will be able to work up cases to a high level with the exceptional facilities including digital x-ray, laparsocopy kit, ultrasound including cardiac scanner and orthopaedic equipment. Two very experienced colleagues will make up your vet team. 

The practice is located on a bustling high street with plenty of cafes, independent food shops and pubs. 

Role:

Manage cases and provide excellent customer services, working closely with nursing and reception teams.

Required: 

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Ideally competence in orthopaedics
• Competence in ultrasound and/or laparoscopy a benefit or desire to develop these skills
• Exceptional customer service skills 

It offers a competitive package depending on experience which includes salary from £40k-50k pa. plus £12,000 housing allowance, vehicle or £2,500 allowance, £1500 CPD plus 3 days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays. 

This role works an average of 39 hours across a 5-day week with a mix of 8am-2pm, 8am-5pm and 10am-7pm on 3 week rolling rota, providing excellent work-life balance across your working week! 

This role works 1:3 half weekends at the practice with flexibility to go to their Local hospital. You will also be included on a bank holiday rota and on-call rota should the night team require support - this is split fairly across all Vets in the region approx. 1-3 weeks of the year.
